MY KNOWLEDGE LEVEL IN SOFTWARE
Robotics was not my first career choice nor was the control system. But new technologies seeded with an entrepreneurial potential captivated me right from my school days. My pragmatic approach towards science and my appetite for knowledge led me to pursue Electrical Engineering in my bachelors. The four years of undergraduate experience changed my perspective, and, thus, became a reason for my interest to pursue higher studies in Aerial Robotics. Some lessons were learned in the traditional way, while others I have received from professional mentors during work and in some cases, friends and family. My research interest includes control of autonomous aerial systems, optimal control, formation control and multiagent systems.
For my PhD thesis, I am working on “Development of Autonomous Swarm of UAVs System”. The objectives of the project can be briefly pointed as follows:
To perform surveillance of a prescribed area, by a fixed number of UAVs, while minimizing the probability of missing an event.
Formation control UAVs in the swarm.
Optimal trajectory planning and dynamic obstacle detection of the UAVs.
Using UAV as an aerial base station.
